Is It Worth It?

Some people wonder if it’s worth it. Why do we keep going when there are over 40 million people being trafficked for sexual, labour and organ exploitation around the world. We keep going because every life matters, and in the famous words of Martin Luther King Jr. “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”.

We keep going because it is our responsibility to steward this planet that we live on and we focus on the human who live on it. Healthy humans (physically, mentally etc.) contribute to a healthier planet. The link below to a video by Micah Bournes sums it all up.

Every bit helps. Whether you are a practitioner who would like to donate some time to support others on the field who need the training that you have or you are a photographer looking to see how you can support practitioners on ground, there is something you can do.

Remember the words of Dr. Maya Angelou “Love recognises no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls, to arrive at its destination full of hope”. Join us in being a bearer of hope.

Give A Gift

Giving is always appreciated, of your time, finances and/or skills. We all have a role to play in caring for the vulnerable among us. This ancient poem says it aptly:

Little drops of water, Little grains of sand,
Make the mighty ocean, And the beauteous land.
And the little moments, Humble though they be,
Make the mighty ages, Of eternity.

Little deeds of kindness, Little words of love,
Make our earth an Eden. Like the heaven above.
